We were contracted by Mr Richard White, owner and director of Dooralong Valley Native Plants Pty Ltd, to rewrite his company's website. The rewrite included a number of new modifications. These were:

Modernisation of site

Improved image loading speed (image optimisation)

Database driven price and catalogue listings

Members only section allowing for online ordering

Semi-automated sign up process, requiring minimal interaction by site administrators^*

Setup and delegation of new domain pointer (www.dvnp.com.au)

^*Each time a person signs up for the members only section, they are first automatically sent a confirmation email. The new person then confirms their membership request. Once confirmation occurs, an automated email is sent to the site administrator informing that a new member has signed up. It is then up to the site administrator to give the new person membership status, or delete them (in the case of a bogus submission). Once the site administrator has confirmed or denied the member, an automated email is dispatched informing the member. This reduces the workload for the site administrator and provides time to perform additional tasks with minimal interruption.
